Sequence of Steps

1

Definition of "Quick Wins"

⏱ 10 minutes
The team defines what a "Quick Win" is: Costs almost nothing, requires no high-level approval, can be done in max. 2 weeks (e.g., "New kettle," "Sharp scissors in the copy room," "Digital calendar for the projector cart").
2

Collection of "Quick Wins"

⏱ ongoing
Anyone can post an idea in the first column of the whitebord.
3

Voting/Selection for/of "Quick Wins"

⏱ 5 minutes
Once a week, the team checks: Which quick win are we tackling this week?
Who is taking charge?
Then the respective card is moved to "In Progress" on the whiteboard.
4

Implementation

⏱ -
The responsible person (or group) completes the task.
5

Celebration

⏱ 1 minute
The note is ceremoniously moved to the "Done" column.
Once a month, all quick wins are briefly acknowledged.

Reflection

Does it feel good to have brought about a change yourself?
Has the number of complaints about minor issues decreased?

Tips for Implementation

School leadership could provide a small "Quick Win Budget" (e.g., €50 per month) unbureaucratically so that ideas don't fail due to lack of funds.
